‘Rishikesh’ The penance place of the sages among the mountain ranges of shivlings and Raibhya muni has received the darshan of lord narayan (vishnu) in the holi land on the stranth of his penance. hence this holi land was named ‘Rishikesh’ after the name lord Vishnu.
